Storage Container or Bin not "Pod".
A lot of people call our storage containers or bins a “pod”. Although we are similar to PODS there are some key differences and we pride ourselves in having the best product and service.
All-Steel Construction means top quality:
Porta Stor storage containers in Ventura, CA are made of All-Steel construction whereas PODS “pods” are made with a steel frame, panels made of steel skins and a high-density polyethylene core (plastic).
Always Free Delivery & Removal
Did you know we always have Free Delivery & Free Removal? PODS in Ventura only offers it in some areas within a very limited range.
No Fuel Surcharge:
When asking for a quote or ordering a container we like to be upfront about our prices. We don’t add fuel surcharges. PODS in Ventura will add them depending on your location and where your POD might be delivered to.
No Sales Tax or Hidden Fees:
We never have and never will add sales tax or hidden fees to your order. Being honest about pricing is our policy. What we quote you is what you get.
Lowest Quote Guaranteed:
If you give us a call we can guarantee that our quote will be lower than PODS, even with our 2 month minimum due at delivery cost. We don’t require a deposit but rather require the first two months (non-refundable) up front. However this doesn’t mean you are obligated to keep your container that long, you can keep it for as little or long as you like. Even with our two month minimum startup we can guarantee our prices will still be lower than one month with PODS.
Six Sizes to Choose from (Not Three):
We have 6 Storage Container sizes to choose from and 3 Office Container types available too. PODS only has 3 sizes to choose from and their largest size is our second smallest. So instead of having to order two or more PODS to fill your home you would most likely have to only order one from us therefore saving you money.
We Relocate Too:
Just like PODS we also offer relocation of our storage containers. The only difference is we deliver locally and PODS delivers nationwide. Since our private family owned facility is based in Ventura County we deal locally within Santa Barbara, Ventura & Los Angeles Counties. The relocation charge depends where the container is being relocated to with the price range from $50 - $150 per move.
